An Ongoing Effort to Gain All for HIS Glory.
About Me

Well...who am I, right? I guess I could dump my resume in here, and all that.

But, that's booooring.

The real story is a lot less exciting. I'm a 1978 graduate of Fordham University in the Bronx, where I was shown the door with a bachelor degree in Communications (Broadcasting). At the tender age of 22, I thought it would be fun to work my career in the industry, starting off (after 4 years doing various things at WFUV-FM, Fordham's 50KW FM station) at a small station in White Plains NY, as well as actively participating in the industry organizations such as the Society of Broadcast Engineeers, NABET, and others. Well...life takes some strange turns. Ended up at the ABC Radio Network in 1979, part of the studio/field team supporting the network news folks. (That's me, below, with Bert Freedman, in the tape studio 6T of ABC Radio, circa 1979)

Many years later...gone through a few companies (Data General, Exxon Resarch, AT&T, Lockheed Martin...should have stayed at Exxon). But, hindsight is always 20/20. Live and learn.

Started taking flying lessons in 1987, earned my Private, then Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFI-IA, and A&P ratings at Princeton Airport in Princeton, NJ...and bought a few airpanes along the way. Still love to fly, but, as in all things, you have to apportion your time properly, and there's less time to fly right now than I'd like.

I also participate in American Civil War reenactments, and have since 1992. On the Confederate side, of course. Right now I serve as the Colonel for The Southern Legion, a combined arms reenacting battalion centered on the NY/NJ/Eastern PA area.

For what it's worth, I'm a biographee in Who's Who in America, was created a Knight of Malta in 1986, and hold an FCC General Radiotelephone Certificate, General Class Amateur Radio License KB3TUM, CISSP certification, and a couple of patent memos for my work in network security technology while at Exxon and AT&T. Not much else. How's that for a CV? Any other questions?

I also enjoy serving at the altar for the Extraordinary Form of the Mass...
