As we toil through our day today, please ponder in your heart the unnumbered multitude of souls who endure unimaginable torments in the bowels of Purgatory. Consider then, if you will, that those souls, upon release, will fly to Eternal Bliss in the Beatific Vision with a tremendous debt of gratitude to those in the Church Militant who “purchased” that release from torment through sacrifice and prayer; and what better prayer can we offer to the Father for that sweet release then the bloodless renewal of the Perfect Sacrifice…Holy Mass!
